“Jesus is the God whom we can approach without pride and before whom we can humble ourselves without despair” – Blaise Pascal
No need for a list of good deeds. No need to make a good first impression. Our God is accepting of all who accept him.
No prerequisites.
FYI. Blaise Pascal was a philosopher, mathematician, and engineer in the 17th century. He never did anything useful, just Pascal’s Triangle (learn ya’ some Calculus) and the first calculator (a semi useful invention). He wrote some philosophy on faith and Christianity that was pretty good though. There is a collection of his works on faith and devotion is available on Amazon under The Mind on Fire: An Anthology of the Writings of Blaise Pascal
