How do you describe “church,” what does it mean to you?

“I think for many the institution of the church can work as an anchor or a center for which you can always come back to visit when things become a little hectic. You can come together with like-minded people to set time aside so that you can really keep your faith in check. It can be great for meeting some wonderful people and making lifetime friendships. These are things I like about church. This is how I would like it to be. I feel that it can very well miss the mark on some of these. I think that it can become burdened by social issues, financial goals and rigidity that can very well push people away.”
